Security Notice: Email Impersonation Attempt

What Happened

Early on the morning of Saturday, August 1, 2026, one of our clients notified us that they had received an email claiming to come from Ron Shur, the CEO of eNet Web Services. The message did not originate from our company.

The email was sent from the following address:

founder.ronshur.netservice@gmail.com

The message claimed that urgent changes were required on the recipient's website in order to keep the site visible in search engines and AI search results. It then requested funds before the work could proceed.

This message did not come from eNet Web Services. We did not send it, we are not associated with the sender, and no action described in that email is legitimate.

How to Identify a Genuine Email From Us

Verifying a message from our team is straightforward. Check the sender's full email address, not just the display name, because a display name can be set to anything.

• Every official email from our team is sent from our verified @enetwebservices.com domain.
• We never send client correspondence from Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com, or any other free consumer email service.
• If the address ends in anything other than @enetwebservices.com, the message is not from us, no matter whose name appears on it.

What eNet Web Services Will Never Do

• We will never cold email a client or a member of the public requesting payment for services that have not already been discussed.
• We will never request funds without a prior conversation, either in person or through a scheduled virtual meeting, followed by a written proposal.
• We will never pressure a client with claims that their website will disappear from search results unless they pay immediately.
• We will never ask a client to send payment to an account or payment link that did not come through our normal invoicing process.

Every project we take on begins with a documented conversation and a formal proposal. Urgency and secrecy are not part of how we work, and any message built on either should be treated as suspicious.

What to Do if You Received This Email

• Do not reply to the message.
• Do not send payment or share any banking or card information.
• Do not click any links or open any attachments it contains.
• Report the message as phishing within your email provider, then delete it.
• Contact us directly using the phone number below so we can confirm whether any communication you received is genuine.

If you have already responded to this email or sent payment, please call us right away. Contact your bank or card issuer as soon as possible, as fast reporting improves the chances of stopping or recovering a transaction.

What We Are Doing

We have reported the fraudulent account to Google and we are notifying our clients directly. We are also reviewing our communications so that clients have a clear and simple way to verify anything they receive from us. If further details emerge, we will update this page.
